Mina, often called the “Tent City,” is a valley near Mecca where millions of pilgrims stay during the Hajj pilgrimage. The area is filled with thousands of air-conditioned tents that serve as temporary accommodation for pilgrims. Mina is also the site of the Jamarat, where pilgrims perform the ritual of stoning the three pillars that represent the devil. This symbolic act commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s rejection of Satan’s temptations. Mina is a unique and integral part of the Hajj journey, offering a sense of unity and shared purpose as pilgrims gather for worship and reflection.
